KTX will continue to strategically expand its market position in the automotive segment.
In this role, you will be responsible for both key account management and active business development within the customer environment. You will strategically develop existing OEM and Tier 1 customers while simultaneously identifying new business opportunities both within and outside of existing relationships.
You have commercial responsibility for RFQ processes, pricing, quotations, and negotiations – with a clear focus on sustainable growth.
Your tasks
- Customer support and strategic development of key accounts in the OEM and Tier 1 environment
- Active identification and development of new business opportunities (including within existing customers)
- Management of the RFQ process including pricing strategy, bid calculation, and negotiations
- Development and implementation of growth initiatives (e.g., new applications, platforms, programs)
- Close collaboration with Engineering, Costing, Project Management, Operations, and Finance
- Building and maintaining a resilient network in purchasing, development, and project management on the client side
Your profile
- Several years of experience in automotive sales, key account management, or business development
- Experience in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment, ideally in plastics processing (e.g., injection molding, assembly).
- Demonstrable successes in expanding customer relationships and developing new customers
- In-depth understanding of OEM processes (Nomination, SOP, Pricing, Change Management)
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, as well as an analytical approach.
- Completed studies in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
- Secure handling of CRM systems, Excel, and initial experience with digital or AI-supported tools.
- Excellent German and English language skills
