To strengthen our team in Solingen near Wuppertal, we are looking for an experienced Paint Shop Manager (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
- Safeguarding and maintaining the painting process
- Carrying out color changes, adjusting, approving and monitoring the painting processes
- Monitoring the supply of parts and empties (paint shop, inspection station and pad printing)
- Training of workers at the paint shop and control station
- Documentation of quantities, process approval and management of the shift book
- Responsible for the procedure in case of technical problems and deviations from the normal case in production, setting priorities if necessary by "Jidoka"
- Carrying out maintenance in the paint shop according to the maintenance schedule (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Inspection of components and expired paints
- Monitoring compliance with order and cleanliness
Your qualification:
- Completed vocational training as an industrial or vehicle painter or a comparable qualification with subsequent further training as a master craftsman/technician (m/f/d)
- First experience in managing a small team or in a deputy management position
- Several years of practical experience in the paint shop, preferably in industrial painting
- Knowledge of the MS Office package
- Basic technical understanding of system operation, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Experience with quality assurance
- Good written and spoken German
- Willingness to work shifts and flexibility
- High quality awareness
- Reliability, motivation and accuracy
