Goals & Responsibilities
You are the single point of contact for all ITIncidents and service requests, ensuring that incoming tickets are properly qualified, promptly processed, or escalated to the 2nd/3rd level. You support users in the use of IT hardware and software to ensure workplace availability. You also ensure compliance with data security requirements in daily support.
Main tasks
- First-level support and ticket routing in the Service Desk for all IT requests
- Basic User Management (e.g., password resets, account unlocks, creation of standard users) in:
- Local AD
- Entra ID
- M365 First-Line Support, especially support for users in:
- Exchange (Mailboxes, Distribution Lists)
- Teams (Permissions, Client Issues)
- Rights review and support for central file storage:
- File Server (Check access rights for Company & Project Files)
- Client Support
- Setup and Help for Passkeys / Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) (YubiKey)
- BitLocker Encryption of Drives and Endpoints
- Setup, configuration, and installation of new workstations (PCs/notebooks) as well as peripheral devices (monitors, telephones)
- Client Status Monitoring regarding updates and patches (reporting errors in MDM/WSUS)
- Maintenance and functional test IT equipment in meeting rooms
- Output and Management from IT consumables and peripherals (mice, keyboards, cables)
- Quick Guide Onboarding new employees into IT infrastructure
- Cooperation when documenting solutions in the IT knowledge base
Requirements
- Looking for an opportunity to take on responsibility and work independently with a high degree of decision-making freedom
- Careful and reliable work ethic
- Knowledge in the areas of network administration, Windows 11, smartphones, ticketing systems, Active Directory
- Understanding different network access concepts
- Good English skills
- Very good German language skills
