Why train at KTX?

As an apprentice, you will be part of a dynamic team and learn how to help shape the mobility of tomorrow with state-of-the-art technologies.

Our apprenticeships

We offer you a wide range of training programmes where you can gain valuable experience in different areas:

You will work in all administrative departments such as purchasing, development/project management, production control, finance/controlling, logistics, human resources, quality management, sales and sometimes two weeks in production. The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and takes place in the company or at Gunzenhausen Vocational College (1-2 days per week). A secondary school leaving certificate in the commercial branch with a good command of English is required.

You will familiarise yourself with all logistical processes in the company. You will receive goods, check them and store them properly. You will also pick, pack, load and dispatch goods. You will also be involved in optimising logistical processes and learn how to handle work equipment. The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and takes place in the company and at the vocational college in Nuremberg (1-2 days per week). A qualification from secondary school is desirable.

You will network hardware and software components to create complex systems, set up IT systems, rectify faults and solve application and system problems. This also includes advising and training users. The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and takes place in the company and at the vocational college in Ansbach (1-2 days per week). An intermediate school leaving certificate with a good command of English is desirable.

You will learn a profession that covers the three specialisms of mechanics, electronics and IT. Planning, installing, maintaining, repairing and commissioning electrical systems, devices and machines are your daily tasks. The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years and takes place in the company and at the vocational college in Ansbach (block teaching). An intermediate school leaving certificate in the technical branch with a good command of English is required.

You will set up the machines with the tools, set up injection moulding machines with the corresponding peripherals and ensure that production runs smoothly. The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and takes place in the company and at the vocational college in Dinkelsbühl (block teaching). Successful completion of secondary school is a prerequisite.
